Manfred Leitner confirmed as OMV Executive Board member for Downstream

The Supervisory Board of OMV Aktiengesellschaft and Manfred Leitner have agreed to extend his mandate for the Executive Board. A contract extension for a further two years has been agreed. Manfred Leitner is thereby OMV Executive Board member for Downstream (Refining & Marketing as well as Gas & Power) until December 31, 2019.

Manfred Leitner graduated in commerce from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and began his career at OMV in 1985 in the Exploration & Production division. After working abroad for several years as head of finance in Tripoli, he returned to Austria in 1990 and was in charge of the controlling department in the Exploration & Production segment. In 1997 he moved to Refining & Marketing and led the Planning and Controlling department. From 2003 he was the Business Unit Manager for Downstream Optimization & Supply. He has sat on the OMV Executive Board since April 1, 2011. He is responsible for Downstream (Refining & Marketing and Gas & Power).
