Results of OMV´s Ordinary Annual General Meeting 2017

  • Dividend of EUR 1.20 per share approved, with payment date on Friday, June 2, 2017
  • Shareholders voted in favor of the Long Term Incentive Plan 2017 and the Share Part of the Annual Bonus 2017

OMV´s Ordinary Annual General Meeting (AGM) has approved a dividend of EUR 1.20 per share for 2016 as well as all other resolution proposals on the agenda including the Long Term Incentive Plan 2017 and the Share Part of the Annual Bonus 2017.

Today´s General Meeting has approved a dividend of EUR 1.20 per share. The payment date has been agreed for June 2, 2017. The Meeting presented the duly adopted annual financial statements and discharged the Executive Board and Supervisory Board. Ernst & Young Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft m.b.H., Vienna, has been elected as the auditor and Group auditor for the 2017 financial year.

The General Meeting has granted authorization for the Long Term Incentive Plan 2017, which is a long-term compensation instrument for the Executive Board and selected senior managers that promotes mid and long-term value creation at OMV. Authorization was also granted for the Share Part of the Annual Bonus 2017, an integral part of the annual bonus agreement, which is a long-term incentive and compensation vehicle for the Members of the Executive Board that promotes retention and shareholder alignment in OMV, combining the interests of management and shareholders via a long-term investment in restricted shares.
